About the challenge

Join us for FactHack 2023, the ultimate hackathon for data enthusiasts and fact-finding experts. This year, we're challenging you to tackle some of the world's biggest problems by using data and technology to find new and innovative solutions. The theme of this year's FactHack is "verifying information in real-time". In an age of misinformation, it's more important than ever to be able to determine what's true and what's false. You'll have the opportunity to work with large datasets, cutting-edge technologies, and some of the brightest minds in the industry to create tools that can help people around the world make informed decisions.

Requirements

Teams must consist of 2 to 5 members.

Submissions must be made using [insert programming language(s) or technology(ies)].

Projects must address the theme of "verifying information in real-time".

Submissions must include a working demo of the project and a written report explaining its concept, methodology, and results.

All submissions must be original and not have been previously published or entered in any other competitions.

The Grand Prize winner will receive a cash prize of $10,000, recognition as the top project at FactHack 2023, and a certificate of achievement. The winning project will be featured on the DataVeritas Institute's website and promoted to its network of industry partners.

Judging Criteria

    The project must address the theme of "verifying information in real-time" in a meaningful and innovative way. The judges will be looking for submissions that demonstrate a deep understanding of the challenges of information.
